December 9-11 Minnesota Ski Council Winter Carnival

December 26-Jan 1 Guided moon light snowshoeing.

Guided moonlight snowshoeing starts at 6 pm nightly from the Health Club. Explore our trails through the woods and enjoy the stars! Tour lasts 45 min-1 hr. $12.00 with snowshoe rental, $8.00 without. Moonlight snowshoeing continues on Saturday evenings throughout the season, weather permitting. All snow shoers must sign up at the H&R desk by 4:00 pm.-call ext. 2239. December 29-Wine and Cheese Tasting

January 1-6 College week. Half price lift tickets to students with a valid college ID Jan. 2-7, 2012

January 7-BSO Snowboard Camp-2 day snowboard camp for all ability levels-held at Indianhead on Saturday and Blackjack on Sunday-contact BSO for registration and details.

January 11-Ski league begins

League racing Wednesday afternoons at 2:00 pm must be 21 years old to join. Runs for 9 weeks (first two weeks are practice). Practice course open at 1:00. Special lift ticket price for league members. Contact ski school for more info

January 19-21 USSA Mid-Am race

January 28 Rail Jam Saturday Rail Jam in the Terrain Park starting at 1:00pm. Ski and snowboard categories. Each contestant gets two runs, best run counts toward score. Judging on a point's basis. Entry fee of $10.00 per person. Awards and video playback in the Summit Center at 4:00 pm

February 3-5 USSA Racing/Region 2 Speed Camp-(Superbowl weekend)-some runs closed for race venue

February 11-Wine tasting with Chocolate

February 25- Slope style Competition-held in the Terrain Park starting at 1:00pm. Open to both skiers and boarders. Each contestant gets two runs, best run counts toward score. Judging on a points basis. Entry fee of $10.00 per person.

March 3 -Survival of the Fittest Challenge-Win a season Pass! Series of three events to test your stamina. Includes ski/ride, climb mountain, and obstacle course. First to the finish line wins a season pass. No entry fee.

March 7-Ski League Banquet


March 10-Klements Sausage-fest- Cookout featuring Klement's sausage, fun and games with the famous racing Klement's sausage guys!

March 13-Bartender's Race (Tuesday)

March 16-18 2nd annual Pow Wow in the Pines

March 17 Bikini Race Saturday at 1:00 PM. Bikini race takes place on the Chippewa head wall. Best time and crowd appeal prizes. Modified slalom course set up. Prizes include season pass or weekend lift and lodging package.

March 24 Slush Cup
