Okemo Mountain Resort has prepared an exciting line-up of special events, sure to please visitors and residents of all ages during the Christmas Holiday Vacation Week. Ski, snowboard, snowshoe, cross-country and indoor golf Okemo Mountain Resort and Okemo Valley Golf Club & Nordic Center have a multitude of activities sure to please everyone. In addition to an exciting event line-up, Okemo's Village Shuttle Bus Service kicks off the season on December 22nd. Providing the finest snow conditions possible is an Okemo specialty. Okemo's top-ranked snowmaking and grooming teams are the "best in the business" and are dedicated to making this holiday experience a memorable one.
Okemo has become one of my favorite resorts. I really like to ski on their groomed trails.
They also have some really good bump runs too. My daughter and I once spent a day
skiing with the Okemo Freestyle Team and we had a really great time watching these guy
do their thing in the bumps. We skied a few bumps too, when we were with them. After
the team had finished for the day, the coaches took us to the gladed area and we skied
the bumps in the trees. Okemo bills itself as a family area but there is enough difficult
terrain to humble the best of us.
